These films from a number of sources teach and inspire.

Journey of the Universe

In a lifetime there are events and experiences that change one’s perspective completely. This film did that for me. Expanding a story of creation from thousands of years to billions does not discount the later stories that we learn in our traditions and cultures. What it creates is a new context for who we are and where our journey takes us now with our enhanced knowledge of where we belong and where we fit in the story.

The award winning film is now available in video format and you can view it here.

Doctrine of Discovery: Stolen Lands, Strong Hearts

This film is one of the responses of the Anglican Church of Canada’s Primate’s Commission on discovery reconciliation and justice. The purpose of this film is to respond to the calls to action by helping to provide education and insight into the racist foundations of many of our property and other laws still in existence to this day. You can access the complete video here. It is also useful to access the individual sections of the film to review them or highlight their contents.

Love Water

I saw this film at the 2018 Parliament of World Religions and was inspired by it several times since. The film maker was part of a panel and noted that film is the Shakespeare of our time. This short film reflects that and you can watch it here.
