On July 17th, communities across Canada will take action. Together, we will call on CBC to host a federal leaders’ debate on climate change and a Green New Deal during the October election.

As our public broadcaster, funded by public money, the CBC has the power to organize a federal leaders’ debate. And they have a responsibility to ensure we all know which one of our major parties has a plan to tackle the climate crisis. If enough of us take action we will give the CBC a clear mandate to host a leaders’ debate on climate change. There are various times for showing your support across the country.
